	Terms and Conditions of Entry - Ethanol Fuel Competition General 1. Information on how to enter the Ethanol Fuel Competition and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry. 2. By participating in this Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of entry. 3. The promoter is the State of Queensland through the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (Employment Industry Development and Innovation) ("Promoter") ABN 97 406 359 732 of 111 George Street Brisbane Qld 4000. 4. The competition is open to Queensland residents only. The competition will commence on 6 August 2009 and close on 30 October 2009 (Competition Period). How to Enter 5. To enter this Competition, entrants must visit www.ethanol.qld.gov.au during the Competition Period and include their name and any other information so requested. 6. Only one (1) entry per entrant is permitted. Eligibility 7. Employees of the Promoter and their families are not permitted to enter into the Competition. 8. The following is prohibited, will be deemed invalid and relevant entries will be disqualified: a) Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries; b) Entries containing invalid email addresses (if applicable); and/or c) Entries that have been tampered with. 9. Entrants must notify the Promoter in writing of any changes of email address or phone number. 10. Winners who cannot be reached at the email address or phone number provided on their entry will be disqualified. 11. The Promoter reserves the right to: a) Verify the validity of entries and entrants including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence; and/or b) Disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is, in its reasonable opinion, not in accordance with these conditions of entry. Draws and prizes 12. The winner will be drawn at random by 1 November 2009 and the Promoter will contact the winner by both phone and email. 13. The winner of the Competition is entitled to a pre-paid fuel card to the value of $1000 (Australian dollars). 14. The fuel card is to be used for the purchase of ethanol blended fuels only, and will not allow for the purchase of any other fuels, products or services. 15. The card has a predetermined limit of $1000. The winner has 12 months from the receipt of the prize to exhaust the value of the card, after which time the card will expire and any remaining funds will be forfeited. 16. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants. 17. The card can only be used at predetermined designated fuel retailers. 18. The winner is to be available for a promotional/media opportunity (within reason), such as an official ceremony to receive the card. 19. The card is not restricted to a particular vehicle and can be used at the winner's discretion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Personal Information and Privacy 20. The Promoter is collecting the information as part of the Competition entry in order to run the Competition. The information will only be accessed by the Promoter. Some of this information may be given to the organisation that issues the fuel card for the purpose of issuing and administering the fuel card. Your information will not be given to any other person or agency unless you have given us permission or we are required by law. Disclaimer 21. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, and any of its partners, contractors, agents or related body corporates (including any directors, officers, and employees thereof), will not be liable for any loss, personal injury or damage whatsoever (including direct or consequential loss), whether as a result of participation in this Competition, the Promoter's negligence or otherwise. 22. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entrant or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, for any reason whatsoever, without liability.
