Queensland Superyacht Strategy 2008-2013

The global superyacht industry has experienced strong growth for more than a decade and this growth looks set to continue for the foreseeable future.

To take advantage of this growth opportunity, the Queensland Government, in conjunction with industry and other stakeholders, has developed the Queensland Superyacht Strategy 2008-2013. Download a copy of the Queensland Superyacht Strategy 2008-2013:

  • Queensland Superyacht Strategy 2008-2013 - part 1
  • Queensland Superyacht Strategy 2008-2013 - part 2

The strategy seeks to make the most of opportunities for industry growth and development by focussing on four key themes of market development, capability and capacity development, the regulatory environment and marine infrastructure.

Over the coming years, the State Government will be working in partnership with industry to implement the initiatives highlighted in the Queensland Superyacht Strategy 2008-2013 to further enhance Queensland's reputation as a leading superyacht cruising, maintenance, refit and manufacturing destination.
