Innovation Projects Fund

The Innovation Projects Fund is a strategic investment by the Queensland Government to support collaborative research, development and innovation projects that are of importance to Queensland. 

The Innovation Projects Fund consists of four targeted funding programs: 

National and International Research Alliances Program 
The key objective of the National and International Research Alliances program is to support the delivery of research, development and innovation outcomes by Queensland-based entities and interstate, national and/or international partners.

Research-Industry Partnerships Program
The key objective of the Research-Industry Partnerships Program is to facilitate the development of new or improved products, processes and systems that will achieve a commercial return or deliver a public good within four years.

Partnerships-Alliances Facilitation Program
The key objective of the Partnership Alliances Facilitation Program is to provide support to Queensland-based applicants to formulate and facilitate collaborative funding proposals for submission to relevant Queensland, national and/or international funding schemes.

Proof of Concept Fund 
The key objective of the Proof of Concept Fund is to unlock the potential of Queensland research, and increase the level of commercialisation in the State, by providing assistance to applicants to demonstrate the commercial potential of their innovations.
