Food for a Growing Economy: An Economic Development Framework for the Queensland Food Industry
"Food for a growing economy: An economic development framework for the Queensland food industry" is Queensland´s first whole-of-chain food policy.
The objective of "Food for a growing economy" is to focus our efforts to maximise economic growth of the food value chain.
DEEDI developed the policy with input from other government agencies, the food industry and the community through public consultation.
Many Queensland Government agencies have a role to play in implementing "Food for a growing economy", and government will take a coordinated approach to delivery.
The actions contained in this policy will help support and direct the growth of the Queensland value chain into the future.
